Preparing for the Fourth Trimester: A Postpartum Planning Workshop for Expectant Mothers & Their Village

  • Evolutionary Psychotherapy & Holistic Healing 291 Wall Street 2nd/3rd Floor Kingston United States (map)

Postpartum is a sacred window, not a syndrome.

While we spend months preparing for birth, few of us are taught how to prepare for the weeks and months (and years!) that follow. In this workshop, you'll learn how to create a postpartum rooted in rest, nourishment, warmth, community, and intentional care, so you can enter motherhood feeling supported rather than depleted.

Whether you're expecting your first baby, hoping for a different postpartum experience this time around, or gathering your village before baby arrives, you'll leave with:

  • Practical tools for creating a nourishing postpartum environment at home

  • Guidance on rest, recovery, food, body care, and emotional support during the fourth trimester

  • Ideas for building your postpartum village to receive the care you truly need

  • A deeper understanding of postpartum as a transformative threshold, and how to honor this transition with intention

  • A comprehensive Postpartum Planning Guide with recipes, resources, and preparation checklists

The design of postpartum time is a window of nourishment, healing, and deep transformation, but that doesn't happen by chance; it is created with care, intention, and community.

About the facilitator:

Maible Arden is a postpartum care provider, Womb Continuum Care practitioner, mother, and lifelong student of women’s bodies, midwifery, herbalism, and traditional healing practices.

Her work supports women across the womb continuum through bodywork, nourishment, education, and community care. She weaves together physiology, ancestral wisdom, and intuition to help women feel resourced, supported, and connected during life’s major transitions.

Maible is devoted to re-villaging: rebuilding the networks of care that allow mothers and families to thrive.
