What is Medical Hypnotherapy? It is a powerful, constantly evolving approach to healing physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual dis-ease that can be traced back to physicians/priests of ancient Egypt. It acknowledges the pioneering efforts of physicians employing the modality that would eventually be known as “hypnotherapy” in Europe and the US in the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries, and the new, dynamic approaches being developed by the doctors of today. In this workshop, we will trace the roots of Medical Hypnotherapy and discover the primary skills that underpin it and, more importantly, the attitudes of caring professionalism that rest at its very core. As we live and work in the third decade of the 21st century, our doctors are spending less time with us, and virtual office visits have become the new normal. Medical Hypnotherapy has an important part to play in lessening fear and increasing hope as the face of medicine rapidly changes.
By partnering with physicians in the early 2000’s and teaching doctors and nurses how medical hypnosis can help their patients live better between office visits, I have seen my practice grow in amazing ways. Medical Hypnotherapists are invaluable resources to doctors in any specialty area of medicine because we can help their patients: decrease anxiety, limit dependence on addictive pain pills, avoid the unpleasant side effects of necessary medicines or procedures, and increase overall medical compliance. This has allowed me to practice hypnotherapy in NY, GA, and NC. I started in a brick-and-mortar office in NYC in the 1990’s and have worked virtually since 2012. Not only can you experience relief from your symptoms, but you will also discover that self-hypnosis is a life skill that you can employ in non-medical areas and teach your loved ones.
Would you like to dramatically increase your happiness and health and potentially decrease the number of medical visits this year by learning the benefits of Medical Hypnotherapy?
Does the idea of harnessing your innate healing ability intrigue you?
Want to skyrocket your self-confidence and self-care, and create the kind of life that you deserve?
If so, this workshop is for you.
